Help us spread the word about early intervention.

Would you like to help us spread the word about early intervention?

If so, there are several ways in which you can do this.

On social media:

  • Share this website with your friends on Facebook, and ‘like’ the Challenging Behaviour Foundation’s Facebook page for updates about Paving the Way: https://www.facebook.com/thecbf
  • Share the website with your followers on Twitter, and follow the CBF’s Twitter account to retweet our Paving the Way updates: https://twitter.com/CBFdn/

On the Paving the Way website:

If you have experience of early intervention, Positive Behaviour Support, or simply have a child with learning disabilities and would like to tell us your story, we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for new stories, family photographs, and blog posts for the blog section of our site.

Please email communications@thecbf.org.uk to send your photos and stories.

With the CBF:

Are you organising an event for family carers? Or maybe you’ve spotted one that’s happening near you?

The Challenging Behaviour Foundation has a national team of Local Champions – volunteers who raise awareness of the Challenging Behaviour Foundation, challenging behaviour, and related issues. Every CBF Local Champion is a family carer, and looks after someone with severe learning disabilities whose behaviours challenge. They have all taken a 4-day training course to understand challenging behaviour, supporting behaviour change, and the work of the CBF.

If you would like to book a Local Champion to come to an event and speak about early intervention and the issues raised in Paving the Way, please email info@thecbf.org.uk to find out if someone is available to come to your event.
